The Story
Round Turn Distilling was founded in 2015 by native Mainers Kristina Hansen and Darren Case, working out of a converted 150-year-old textile mill on the Saco River in Biddeford. Bimini, their flagship, was inspired by Maine summers and built as a modern American gin: softer on the resinous pine notes of a London dry, brighter with citrus and hops. It won a Double Gold medal at the 2017 San Francisco World Spirits Competition, and every bottle is still macerated, distilled, blended and packaged at the distillery, passing through the founders' hands.
