The Story
Bedford Park's Stargazing series pairs rare single casks with photography from the Hubble Space Telescope — this label carries the Veil Nebula. The rum itself spent its first years in Jamaica before moving to Europe in 2012 for slow continental aging, the path many of the great independent Jamaican bottlings take. New Yarmouth's high-ester marques are among the most sought-after in Jamaican rum, and a 15 year old single cask at full strength is a rare sight. Compare it with the older Bedford Park 16 Year Old Jamaican Single Barrel Rum from the same series.
Tasting Notes
Fruity, bold and punchy: overripe banana, pineapple and mango funk over warm oak spice, with the solvent-bright lift of a true high-ester marque and a long, oily finish that keeps unfolding.
How to Enjoy
Pour it neat and give it time in the glass; a few drops of water open the fruit further. Bottlings like this anchor our rare and top shelf collection.
