Bedford Park 9 Year Old Jamaican Single Barrel Rum is a single-barrel Jamaican rum from independent bottler Bedford Park, distilled at Worthy Park in 2015 and bottled in 2025 at cask strength, 60.8% ABV (121.6 proof), in a 700mL bottle. The spirit is Worthy Park’s medium marque, WPM, matured with full continental aging in once-used bourbon barrel No. 4 and bottled just short of its tenth anniversary — 246 bottles, non-chill filtered with no additives. The Sweet Spot, From Worthy Park

Worthy Park, in the Lluidas Vale, is Jamaica’s single-estate rum distillery — cane grown, fermented, pot distilled and aged on one estate — and its WPM medium marque balances real ester character against approachability. Raising Glasses describe this cask as an outstanding and balanced rum that integrates the bourbon cask with the spirit, approachable for drinkers new to rum with layers of complexity underneath: nine years is the sweet spot where oak integration is real but the pot still funk still leads. Bedford Park’s Jamaican single casks consistently score in the high 8s and 9s with the RumX community, and this is the most affordable entry into the program. Browse it alongside the rest of our rum range.

Tasting Notes

A vivid nose of overripe banana, pineapple and tropical fruit with unmistakable hogo. The palate is dense and oily, esters meeting caramel, vanilla, dried fruit and toasted wood, finishing long, dry and spicy with a lingering fruit-and-funk fade.

How to Enjoy

Neat with a splash of water to open it, or in a Mai Tai you will remember. Find the rest of the build among our cocktail ingredients, and more Jamaican pot still pours across our spirits shelves.
