Aviation American Gin Deadpool Edition
Aviation American Gin Deadpool Edition is the 2024 limited-edition bottle "ginspired" by Marvel Studios' Deadpool & Wolverine — the same 42% ABV (84 proof) American dry gin inside, dressed in one of six collectible Deadpool icon designs by Ryan Reynolds' Maximum Effort and Sandstrom Partners. Distilled in Portland, Oregon from seven botanicals macerated 18 hours, it's the New Western-style gin Reynolds co-owns, in a bottle built for the shelf. It's available to order online at Del Mesa Liquor, San Diego, CA.

A Bottle Built for the Shelf
When Deadpool & Wolverine hit theaters July 26, 2024, Aviation went full Deadpool: six different Deadpool icon designs across the limited run (your bottle's icon varies), plus a yellow-and-blue Wolverine Edition alongside it. The gin itself is unchanged — the seven-botanical recipe with French lavender, cardamom, anise seed, Indian sarsaparilla and two kinds of orange peel — "at the same price," per the brand. Officially "while supplies last." Explore the store's Aviation shelf or browse more American gin.
Tasting Notes
Floral and dry: juniper layered with lavender, citrus peel brightness, cardamom and coriander spice, a whisper of anise and sarsaparilla. Smoother and more floral than a London dry — built for cocktails but clean enough to sip.
How to Enjoy
The Aviation cocktail (gin, maraschino, crème de violette, lemon) is the house serve. It also makes a Negroni with real lift, or a simple gin and tonic with a grapefruit twist.
