A Full Aircraft Carrier of Bourbon
Some bottles are bought for the liquid; this one is bought for the shelf. The Open Sea aircraft carrier is a hand-painted ceramic decanter in the shape of a full-size aircraft carrier, holding a generous 1.75L of bourbon. There is no brand website and no published mash bill or distillery behind it — this is a novelty decanter brand through and through — so buy it for what it is: a striking gift, a bar-top centerpiece, and a lot of bourbon. Shop more in our bourbon and whisky collections, or browse the Open Sea range.
Tasting Notes
No official tasting notes exist for this bottling — distributor/retailer copy is template filler and is not repeated here. Expect a standard 80-proof bourbon profile; the honest recommendation is to judge the decanter, not chase tasting notes.
How to Enjoy
Pour it over ice at a gathering and let the decanter do the talking. It mixes happily into highballs and simple bourbon cocktails — and the empty ceramic carrier stays as a display piece.
