Jack Daniel's built its name on a single mash bill — and held it from 1866 until this whiskey. The Single Barrel Rye, launched in February 2016 as the third offering in the Single Barrel Collection, is built on 70% rye with 18% corn and 12% malted barley, mellowed through sugar maple charcoal and aged in charred white American oak barrels made at the distillery's own cooperage. It completed a rye sequence the distillery had been building toward with its Unaged and Rested Rye limited releases.
