Dewar's 25 Year Old Scotch Whisky — Dewar's The Signature — is the house's flagship blended Scotch: 40% ABV (80 proof), 750mL, built from malt and grain whiskies matured a minimum of 25 years in oak casks. After blending, the whisky is double-aged — returned to oak casks to marry — then finished in freshly emptied Royal Brackla single malt casks under Master Blender Stephanie Macleod. Launched in 2017 as the oldest and rarest whisky in Dewar's permanent range, replacing the former no-age-statement Signature, it pours heather honey, cream and nuts over a velvety, long finish. The Signature, Double-Aged

Double-ageing has been Dewar's signature move for over a century: blend the mature whiskies, then send the blend back into oak to marry into a single, seamless spirit. For the 25 Year Old, Macleod took it one step further — after the double-ageing, the blend rests in casks that had just held Royal Brackla single malt, picking up a final layer of rich fruit and floral polish. At a quarter-century minimum age, this was the oldest whisky in the permanent Dewar's range at launch. Tasting Notes

Nose: Heather honey, cream and nuts with rich fruit and floral notes. Palate: Refined oak, delicate honey and a hint of smoke developing through berries, peach and almond in longer tastings. Finish: Velvety, sweet and long.
