Ten Passes Through the Still
Most vodkas are distilled a handful of times and call it a day — Platinum 10X runs its American-grain spirit through distillation ten times before Sazerac puts it in the bottle. The extra passes strip out roughness without stripping out all character, which is exactly what the 2021 Ultimate Spirits Challenge judges rewarded with 92 points. Among vodkas at this price, it over-delivers on smoothness for the money.
Tasting Notes
Judges' notes from the 2021 Ultimate Spirits Challenge describe vanilla-laced cereal grain, green banana, dried ferns, custard and white flowers, with a rich creamed-corn texture — sweet tones up front that settle into a clean, dry finish.
How to Enjoy
Serve ice-cold for straight sipping or in a vodka martini where its clean finish shines. It disappears equally well into a Bloody Mary, a Moscow mule, or any cocktail that wants a smooth, neutral base with a little texture.
