Two Great Casks, One Texas Finish
Cigar Blend No. 1 marries two of McBrayer’s finest single casks: a 2014 Foursquare from Barbados, the distillery run by fourth-generation rum historian Richard Seale, and a 2012 cask from the legendary wooden Port Mourant still at Guyana’s Diamond Distillery. The blend then rested eight more months in a single Still Austin ex-bourbon barrel — finishing in local Texas whiskey barrels is Spinnaker’s signature move, born when a damaged shipment of European barrels forced an improvisation that turned out to be the brand’s best idea. Tasting Notes
Dark cherry and dried fig up front, with tobacco leaf, cinnamon bark, marshmallow, chocolate and caramelized molasses. Decadent and unhurried — genuinely built as a cigar companion, not a mixer, and the navy strength carries every note without heat getting in the way.
