Ardnamurchan ArdnAmerica Tour Bottling Scotch Whisky 2026 is the fourth annual ArdnAmerica Tour Bottling from the Ardnamurchan Distillery in Glenbeg, on Scotland's remote westernmost mainland peninsula — a US-exclusive Highland single malt limited to just 900 bottles. Breaking with the peated recipes of earlier tours, the 2026 edition is built entirely from 100% unpeated spirit: 66% matured in Ruby Port barriques and 34% in a Golden Promise sherry butt, bottled at a cask strength of 57.9% ABV (115.8 proof), unchill-filtered with natural colour, in a 700mL bottle.

The ArdnAmerica Story
Each year the Ardnamurchan team tours the United States with a one-off bottling made only for American whisky drinkers, and each year's recipe is different. After the Madeira and sherry casks of 2024 and the peated Sauternes barriques of 2025, the 2026 tour bottling turns to port: Ruby Port barriques bring the jammy red fruit, while a single butt of Golden Promise barley matured in sherry wood adds depth and spice. Tasting Notes
Colour: Cherrywood. Nose: Boysenberry, candied orange, baking spice, cappuccino and strawberry shortcake. Palate: Jammy, freshly picked raspberries and blackberries over soft cedar, an easy-smoking cigar note, good Syrah and homemade whipped cream. Mouthfeel: Rich, weighty, full and decadent, with the port fruit carrying through the long finish.
How to Enjoy
Pour it neat first — at 57.9% there is plenty to explore — then add a teaspoon of water to open up the port fruit and soften the sherry spice. It also makes a remarkable after-dinner pour alongside dark chocolate.
