WhistlePig x Liquid Death Gravestock Limited Edition Wheat Whiskey
WhistlePig x Liquid Death Gravestock Limited Edition Wheat Whiskey is the unlikeliest collaboration in whiskey: Vermont's WhistlePig and Liquid Death mountain water, in a wheat whiskey at 86 proof (43% ABV) in this 750mL bottle — and it is available to order online at Del Mesa Liquor, San Diego, CA.
Gravestock starts as a wheat-forward whiskey distilled in Indiana, then aged and bottled at WhistlePig's farm in Shoreham, Vermont. The twist is the wood: massive 380-gallon charred American oak foeders — "caskets" shaped to Liquid Death's death-and-metal aesthetic — that age the whiskey slowly and evenly. Then it's proofed with the same Liquid Death mountain water the brand cans, for a crisp mineral edge. One-time limited release.
Tasting notes: toasted oak, honey, and vanilla on the nose with buttery grain and citrus zest; smooth wheat sweetness, caramel, and baked bread on the palate with a rye-spice backbone; long, clean finish with charred oak and soft sweetness.
Why buy Gravestock? Because it's genuinely good whiskey wearing a costume — the foeder aging and wheat mash make a serious sipper, and the one-time release makes it a collector's piece. Compare with other American whiskey, explore the WhistlePig brand collection, and browse all whisky.
Serving note: neat or with a single cube; also built for a whiskey sour with backbone.
