The FarmStock series is WhistlePig's argument that a rye can taste like a place: grain grown on the farm's own fields, proofing water from its wells, and aging in custom barrels made from Vermont white oak grown on the property. Per the brand: sweet and aromatic on the nose with vanilla, maraschino cherry, roasted chestnuts, and hints of cigar box; oak, toffee, and baking spices on the palate, softening into creme brulee and rose petal notes; a warm, lasting finish of pleasant rye spice.
