For Lunar New Year 2025, Maison Hennessy handed its icons to Shuting Qiu, the Hangzhou-born, Antwerp-trained fashion designer known for vivid floral embroidery. Her 'Reimagination' collection — applied to V.S.O.P, X.O and Paradis — reads the snake as a symbol of renewal and transformation, mixing traditional Chinese brocade and jacquard textures with bold contemporary colour. The V.S.O.P is the youthful edition of the three: red floral designs interlaced with Hawaiian-inspired elements over plaid and abstract snake-scale silhouettes, and — unique to this bottling — the bottle arrives in a lined bag patterned with floral and leaf motifs, made to be reused as a sustainable, artistic keepsake.
