Three Tequilas, One Tower
Casino Azul built its name on sculptural glass, and the Tower is the house showpiece: three hand-blown chambers stacked into a single decanter roughly 19 inches tall, so the colour gradient of the range — pale Silver at one end, golden Anejo at the other — reads down the bottle. Each chamber pours independently, which makes the Tower a working tasting flight as much as a display piece: pour the unaged Silver first, then the oak-rested Reposado, then the barrel-aged Anejo, and the whole arc of tequila ageing is in front of you. Work up the tower. The Silver section is the fresh, artisanal pour — clean agave in the house's small-producer style. The Reposado section is pale straw with floral and earthy aromatics over leathery wood. The Anejo section is golden, with sweet notes of fine leather and vanilla and a touch of fruit.
