50% ABV (100 proof) | 750mL | High-wheat bourbon, Georgia oak staves toasted on a Big Green Egg | Atlanta, GA — ASW Distillery Fiddler Big Green Egg Bourbon is a Georgia original: a high-wheat bourbon finished with Georgia white-oak staves that are toasted and charred on an actual Big Green Egg ceramic grill. Gold Medal, 2026 San Francisco World Spirits Competition. Available to order online at Del Mesa Liquor in San Diego, CA.

ASW (American Spirit Whiskey) in Atlanta built Fiddler on high-wheat mash bills — soft, sweet, wheated bourbon — then gave it the Big Green Egg treatment: oak staves kissed by the same ceramic-cooker fire that grills brisket, adding smoke and char you can't get from a standard barrel. The current blended release is bottled at 100 proof: sweet corn and wheat, vanilla and caramel, a whisper of grill smoke, and a warm oaky finish.

Tasting notes

Sweet wheat and corn, vanilla, caramel, light grill smoke from the Egg-toasted staves, warm oaky finish at 100 proof.

Frequently asked questions

Is this really finished with a grill?
Georgia white-oak staves are toasted and charred on a Big Green Egg ceramic cooker, then used to finish the bourbon — grill smoke meets whiskey oak.

How strong is it?
The current blended release is 100 proof (50% ABV). Earlier single-barrel releases ran ~118 proof — check your bottle label.

What makes it "high-wheat"?
Two high-wheat mash bills — wheat replaces rye as the flavor grain, giving a softer, sweeter bourbon.
