Amor Mio Single Barrel Anejo Tequila
Amor Mio Single Barrel Anejo Tequila is an exclusive single-barrel expression of 100% blue Weber agave, aged a minimum of 24 months in medium-toasted American oak previously used for whiskey, and bottled at 80 proof (40% ABV) — and it is available to order online at Del Mesa Liquor, San Diego, CA.
Distilled at Tequila Tres Mujeres (NOM 1466) in Jalisco under Master Distiller Alberto Partida of the Partida family, each hand-selected barrel is aged a full two years — double the legal añejo minimum — then bottled in lots of just 200 to 260 bottles per barrel, so every barrel is a unique, unrepeatable treasure. The bottle itself is a work of art: handblown glass and hand-painted ceramics by Mexican artisans.
Tasting notes (retailer copy): vanilla, cinnamon, prune and hazelnut wood on the nose; clear with golden-copper sparkles, tasting of vanilla, cooked agave, prunes, wood, nuts and dried fruit; a sweet, long finish.
Why buy the Single Barrel Anejo? Because single-barrel añejos at 24 months are where tequila becomes cognac-like — and no two barrels taste alike. Explore the tequila collection, the Amor Mio brand collection, and all spirits.
Serving note: best neat in a tulip glass or snifter; pairs beautifully with dark chocolate or a cigar.
