Stirrings Cosmopolitan Rimmer
Stirrings Cosmopolitan Rimmer is the pink rimming sugar built for the Cosmo — in the maker's own words, "a blend of confections for the circumference of your cosmo." The 3.5 oz (99g) tin dresses the rim of a Cosmopolitan with a sweet, rosy sparkle that plays off the cranberry and lime in the glass.

About This Rimmer
Stirrings has made its Rimmer line since the cocktail revival — each tin is blended for one classic drink, in its signature colour, and sized to double as its own rimming tray. The Cosmopolitan tin is the pink one: a fine confectionery sugar with a whisper of citric brightness, made to stick to a lime- or cranberry-moistened coupe rim. Round out the garnish shelf with Dirty Sue Cocktail Olives for the martini drinkers.
How to Use
Pour about three tablespoons onto a small plate or use the tin itself. Run a lime wedge around the rim of a chilled coupe, dip and rotate until evenly coated, then shake your Cosmopolitan — vodka, cranberry, lime and orange liqueur — and strain into the dressed glass. The other two tins in the set are the Stirrings Margarita Rimmer and the Stirrings Lemon Drop Martini Rimmer.
Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Cosmopolitan Rimmer sweet or salty? Sweet — it is a confectionery sugar blend, not a salt. For a salted rim, use the Margarita Rimmer.
