Tierra de Ensueño Rosa Añejo Single Barrel Tequila
Tierra de Ensueño Rosa Añejo Single Barrel Tequila is a single-barrel, additive-free añejo from the family-owned Ensueño estate in the southern Highlands of Jalisco, made in small batches at NOM 1580 by master distiller Sergio Cruz and master blender Oscar Vázquez. Fully mature 100% Blue Weber agave is cooked in stone and brick ovens, roller-milled, open-fermented in stainless steel with deep-well water and a proprietary yeast, and double distilled in copper pots. The Rosa Añejo then ages nearly two years, resting first in used bourbon barrels before finishing in an exceptional red wine cask that lends its rosy hue. Bottled from a single barrel at 43.2% ABV in a 750mL bottle, with fewer than 250 numbered bottles produced. It is available to order online at Del Mesa Liquor.

For the Dreamers
Tierra de Ensueño — land of dreams — is a family estate project built on artisanal, nothing-added tequila, and the Rosa Añejo is its most distinctive release: a true rosa-style añejo made without sweetening or coloring, its color and dried-fruit depth earned entirely from the red wine cask. Earlier red wine cask batches scored 90 to 92-plus points with Agave Matchmaker tasters before selling out. Explore more añejo tequila and rare bottles in our gift sets at Del Mesa.
Tasting Notes
Cooked agave wrapped in vinous sweetness, with cherry and dried fruit from the wine cask, vanilla and gentle oak underneath, and baking spice through a dry, spice-driven finish.
How to Enjoy
This is a neat pour — serve it in a stemmed glass and give it a few minutes to open. It pairs beautifully with dark chocolate and dried figs after dinner. Browse the wider tequila collection for more small-batch Highland bottles.
