Tequila Ocho is the world's original single-estate tequila: one field, one ranch, one year, printed on every bottle. Distilled at Carlos Camarena's Destilería La Alteña (NOM 1139) in Arandas the traditional way — piñas slow-cooked 36 hours in masonry ovens, a 5-step roller mill, fermentation in wooden vats, and a second distillation in a small all-copper still modeled on Camarena's great-grandfather's. Retailer-sourced notes: deep amber; cooked agave, vanilla, caramel, toasted oak, dried fruit; dark chocolate, toffee, roasted agave, and baking spices with a long silky finish.
