Siembra Valles Reposado Tequila
40% ABV (80 proof) | 750mL | Aged just over 3 months in Missouri white oak | NOM 1123 — Siembra Valles Reposado is the rested expression of the Siembra Spirits project: single-estate 100% Blue Weber agave, brick-oven cooked, roller-mill crushed, open-air fermented with native yeast, and double-distilled in stainless pot stills with copper coils — then aged just over three months in proprietary Missouri (Ozark) white oak barrels previously used for the Siembra Azul project. Distilled under NOM 1123 at Tequila Cascahuín, El Arenal, Jalisco; founded by David Suro Piñera. Additive-free. Available to order online at Del Mesa Liquor in San Diego, CA.
Short oak time keeps the agave forward: sweet cooked agave and citrus on the nose, a palate of honey, vanilla, and light oak with the house mineral streak, and a clean, gently spiced finish. Among reposado tequilas, the Siembra Valles style is deliberately agave-first — TasteTequila dubbed it "Valley Gold" (88 points, The Daily Pour). Neat, or in a reposado margarita that shows off the agave.
