Blackstrap rums are the dark heart of tiki — robust enough to hold their own against lime, spice and fruit. This one pours a deep amber with molasses depth on the nose and a silky, toffee-driven palate that makes it as good neat as it is in a Dark 'n Stormy or Rum Punch. Don't confuse it with Royal Jamaican's age-stated 8 and 12 Year rums — the Blackstrap is a different, NAS expression built for intensity.
