The Story
Dominica — the Caribbean's "Nature Island" — had no rum on US shelves until this bottle. Rosalie Bay grows and hand-harvests its cane beside the distillery, ferments the fresh juice and pot-distills it into a rum that tastes of the place: green, herbal and saline, closer in spirit to French agricole than to molasses rum. Every bottle sold sends its profits to ocean conservation, which makes it one of the most purposeful pours in our white rum selection.
Tasting Notes
Grassy and savory with fresh cane, green herbs, white pepper and a sea-breeze salinity — dry, vivid and unmistakably agricole in character.
How to Enjoy
Try it in a Ti' Punch — a coin of lime, a teaspoon of cane syrup, nothing else — the way cane juice rum is meant to be drunk. It also brings a wild green edge to a daiquiri, and cane-juice fans should compare it with the Raising Glasses Ethereal 3 Year Old Madeira Rum; explore more of the style in our rum collection.
