This is a limited-edition single malt Scotch whisky produced at Lochlea in South Ayrshire in the Lowlands region of Scotland. It is the second release in an annual series of seasonal bottlings and is made with 100% malted barley grown on the Lochlea farm, distilled on custom Forsyths copper pot stills. The whisky does not have an age statement and is aged in ex-bourbon, Oloroso sherry, and port casks. It has a nose of stewed apples, Juicy Fruit bubble gum, and oat biscuits and a palate of strawberries, violets, and toasted marshmallow, with a finish of freshly cut grass. It is not chill filtered and has an ABV of 46%. The Harvest Edition of this whisky is inspired by the feeling of late summer on the farm when the barley is ready for harvest, highlighting the fact that all of the barley used in this whisky is grown on the Lochlea farm.
