The rum comes from Cain sugarcane grown on Old Bacolet, a windswept farm on Grenada's south coast: a 195-hour controlled-temperature fermentation and Forsyths pot-still distillation yielding a congener content of 328.1 gr/hlpa. This is the first-ever Habitation Velier release from the Renegade distillery, bottled unaged at 110 proof so nothing masks the distillate. Official notes (Velier USA importer release): luminous and fresh on the nose — juicy cane, green mango, dry hay, acidity, floral notes; taut and herbaceous on the palate — green apple skin, tarragon, white pepper, lively and balanced; long, saline, mineral finish with spicy cardamom and makrut lime. For rum collectors who chase agricole-style pot-still purity, this is the Grenada entry.
