Named for George T. Stagg, who acquired the O.F.C. Distillery from Col. Taylor in 1878, the expression has anchored BTAC since 2002 as the collection's barrel-strength bourbon. The 2025 vintage's official notes: deep oak accented by a touch of vanilla on the nose; bold vanilla layered with dark tobacco and ripe cherry on the palate; a long, earthy finish of tobacco, vanilla, and enduring oak. Sixty-three percent of the barrel was lost to evaporation along the way — a concentration tax that makes every surviving drop count. The apex of the bourbon collection for full-strength purists.
