Part of the four-release lineup celebrating Doc Holliday's 174th birthday (announced 2025), this is WWS's first cask-finished series for the Doc Holliday line. Over a decade in charred American oak builds the classic bourbon core of oak, caramel and vanilla; the Armagnac finish then layers in velvety dried fruit, apricot and grape notes with a warm, dry European-oak elegance. Small-batch and hand-bottled in highly limited quantities.
Tasting notes (official, World Whiskey Society): apricot, grape, baker's chocolate, butter and seasoned oak on the nose; oak, vanilla, caramel, light raspberry and minor spice on the palate; a long, earthy finish of dried fruit, black cherry, old oak, peanut husk and a light vegetal edge.
