Distilled in April 2023 and bottled in May 2024 at 62.9% ABV from cask #28, one of 329 bottles, it wraps the marque's wild tropical funk in PX's raisin-and-fig richness. The Story
One distillation, three casks: Colours of Rum bottled Hampden's April 2023 DOK spirit from bourbon, Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez wood to isolate what a cask really does. The PX edition is the crowd-pleaser of the trio — tasters called it a "bomb of esters" softened by sherry sweetness, and several rate it the best of the three. Tasting Notes
Glue, overripe pineapple and banana burst from the glass, wrapped in raisin, fig and sweet sherry fruit. The palate delivers that medicinal high-ester punch with a PX cushion, finishing long with a bitter, astringent edge that keeps the sweetness honest.
How to Enjoy
