In 2011 Marko became intrigued with the idea of distilling a whiskey from one of his favorite dark beers,Bear Republic’s Big Bear Black Stout. Made with over five different malts, Centennial and Cascade Hops, and at 8.1%, it sure had plenty to be curious about.
