Cardinal Spirits Songbird Coffee Liqueur
Cardinal Spirits Songbird Coffee Liqueur is a 750mL craft coffee liqueur — retailer-listed at 49 proof (24.5% ABV) — made by the Bloomington, Indiana distillery with real, locally roasted coffee beans. It pours like a fancy coffee drink in a bottle: deep coffee character balanced by caramel, vanilla, and chocolate — available to order online at Del Mesa Liquor, San Diego, CA.
Cardinal Spirits is a craft distillery built on real fruit, flowers, herbs, and botanicals rather than flavoring shortcuts — four-time USA Today 10Best winner, distributed in 13 states plus D.C. Songbird is its core coffee expression: plenty of actual coffee, not coffee "flavoring," with the complementary sweetness of a well-made liqueur.
Tasting notes (official cardinalspirits.com copy): "Our craft coffee liqueur has plenty of coffee in it, but also has all the complementary flavors you get in a fancy coffee drink. Notes of caramel, vanilla, and chocolate balance out the coffee."
Why buy: Most coffee liqueurs are sugar bombs with a whisper of coffee; Songbird leads with the bean. Pour it over ice, spike cold brew, or build the easy espresso martini — it carries coffee cocktails on its own. More from the distillery at Cardinal Spirits at Del Mesa Liquor.
