The Story
Sanchez Romate has been making sherry in Jerez de la Frontera since 1781, when Juan Sanchez de la Torre founded the bodega. It remains one of the oldest bodegas in Spain and one of the few in the Jerez region still in local family hands. Cream sherry is the sweet end of the house range: a wine built on Palomino Fino and sweetened and enriched with Pedro Ximenez, the raisined grape that gives this bottling its dark mahogany colour and smooth, generous palate.

Dark mahogany in the glass, with fruit aromas and hints of oak, plus sweet baking spice notes. The palate is smooth, sweet and velvety, with candied citrus peel and fruit preserves, finishing full and creamy with a long, sweet fade.
