Vantage is a straight bourbon that is finished in three different types of virgin oak casks: Mizunara, French, and toasted American oak. The result is a warm and elegant bourbon that showcases the diverse flavors and aromas of oak. The team at BCS has drawn on their years of experience with three-part barrel finishing to create a multidimensional blend using different char levels, toast levels, and oak origins. Each component whiskey in Vantage is finished separately and then carefully combined using a scientific, yet creative and experimental approach that focuses on the wood characteristics and the specific flavors each cask brings to the blend.
