Wild Turkey Master's Keep One is a 50.5% ABV (101 proof) Kentucky straight bourbon released in 2021 — a no-age-statement blend of 9-, 10- and 14-year-old bourbons finished with a second maturation in specially toasted new oak barrels. The name "One" tells the story: Master Distiller Jimmy Russell favors mid-aged bourbon, so son Eddie hand-selected 9- and 10-year-old barrels for his father's palate, married them with a lot of 14-year-old whiskey reflecting his own taste, and brought the two profiles together as one. Distilled at Wild Turkey in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, from the classic 75% corn / 13% rye / 12% malted barley mash bill. Available to order online at Del Mesa Liquor, San Diego, CA.

Two Palates, One Bourbon

Every Master's Keep release salutes a story in Wild Turkey's history, and One is the father-and-son chapter. Jimmy's mid-aged favorites bring the sweet honey, caramel and vanilla; Eddie's 14-year-old barrels bring the depth; the toasted-barrel finish ties them into a single bold, refined pour — vanilla, butterscotch, caramel and lingering toasted oak. Tasting Notes

Nose: sweet honey, caramel and vanilla with molasses and rum cake. Palate: bold vanilla, butterscotch and caramel — sweet, creamy, toasted. Finish: fresh and lingering toasted oak with chocolate, fruit and spice.

How to Enjoy
