A Three-Generation Estate Prosecco

Azienda Agricola Moletto is a family estate in Motta di Livenza, in Treviso province — Commendatore Mario Stival and his sons Mauro and Giovanni, all trained oenologists from Conegliano, farming estate grapes in the Piave and Lison-Pramaggiore DOC districts across three generations of the family. The Prosecco DOC Treviso Extra Dry is their calling card: 100% Glera, stainless-steel fermentation, then the Charmat second fermentation in pressurized tanks that keeps the wine fresh and fruit-forward. In the glass it's pale straw yellow and brilliant, the bouquet subtle but well-defined and distinctly fruity — white flowers, green apple, crisp pear, white peach, acacia honey — and the palate soft, fruity and lively with a fresh citrus-and-pear finish and a hint of almond. Serve at 4°C/40°F as an aperitif, with fish, appetizers, salads or soft cheeses. Compare it with the other Italian sparklers in the champagne & sparkling selection and the full wine range, and see the estate's range at Moletto.

Frequently Asked Questions

What grape is Moletto Prosecco made from?
100% Glera, from estate vineyards in the Piave and Lison-Pramaggiore DOC districts of the Veneto.

What is the Charmat method?
The sparkling-wine method where the second fermentation happens in large pressurized tanks rather than in the bottle — it preserves fresh, fruit-forward character.

What does "Extra Dry" mean?
A sweetness level just above Brut — off-dry with a touch of softness, the classic Prosecco profile.

Has it won awards?
Yes — Bibenda's 3 grappoli (2022–2025), Luca Maroni 90 points (2022–2025), Gold at the 2024 Sakura Award in Japan, Silver at The Prosecco Masters, and Gold at the Prague Wine Trophy 2022.
