Momoa — the Aquaman and Game of Thrones star — launched Meili with friend and business partner Blaine Halvorson after more than nine years of development, debuting at the WSWA's Access Live in April 2023 with Momoa as keynote speaker. The pair were drawn to Montana's water above all: it rises through a limestone shelf untouched, and Halvorson notes mineral contents "we've never seen in any other water" after testing hundreds worldwide — the source of the sweet note at the end of the vodka. The result is crisp and clean with hints of earth and grain, bright yet velvety with subtle sweetness and mineral purity, and a smooth, refreshing, gently warming finish.
