Califino Blanco Tequila
Califino Blanco Tequila is 100% ultra-premium Blue Weber agave, purely unaged and bottled at 40% ABV (80 proof) in a 750mL bottle — a crisp, full-bodied blanco from the Los Altos highlands of Arandas, Jalisco. The agave hearts roast a full 48 hours before the juice is separated, and fermentation runs about 200 hours — roughly three times the industry average — building a blanco with real depth: fresh, clean and crisp on the nose, herbal with hints of vanilla and sweet lime on the palate, smooth and refreshing on the finish. Highland Agave, Slow Fermentation
Arandas sits in the red-soil highlands of Los Altos, where elevation and sun grow some of the sweetest agave in Jalisco — and Califino leans into it. The piñas roast for two full days, then ferment for about 200 hours, three times longer than average, which is where the blanco gets its full body and citrus lift. After double distillation it goes straight to bottle, unaged, in Califino's custom-molded bottle with a handmade leather label (the agave fibers even become the rope tied around the neck). The result is a sweet-citrus blanco that sips neat, stands up on the rocks, and mixes with authority. See more blanco tequilas and the Califino collection.
Tasting Notes
Nose: fresh, clean, crisp — slowly cooked agave. Palate: herbal, sweet hints of vanilla, sweet lime citrus. Finish: smooth, full-bodied, refreshing agave. Crystal clear with a vibrant, bright character.
How to Enjoy
Sip neat or on the rocks to taste the highland agave, or mix it — this is a blanco built for a proper margarita or paloma, where the citrus notes do the heavy lifting.
