La Duena Plata Tequila
La Duena Plata Tequila is a 40% ABV, 750mL unaged 100% blue agave blanco — the pure, unadorned expression of the La Duena line, distilled in Amatitan, Jalisco, Mexico (NOM 1531, shared with the brand's Reposado). With no time in wood, the plata carries the agave straight from the still: bright, clean, and built for cocktails that need real agave character. Order it online at Del Mesa Liquor, San Diego, CA.

Agave, Unadorned
Before oak, before aging, there is plata: the distiller's first statement. La Duena's plata is 100% blue agave with nothing between the agave and the glass — the expression bartenders reach for when the cocktail needs the agave to speak first. Browse more blanco tequilas and the La Duena range.
Tasting Notes
No verified plata-specific tasting notes located — retailers recycle the reposado's notes onto this bottle, which is not repeated here. Expect the bright, clean, peppery-agave profile typical of unaged 100% agave blanco from Amatitan.
How to Enjoy
The margarita and paloma workhorse — but a good plata also sips clean, lightly chilled. Keep a bottle in the freezer for shots with sangrita.
