Teeling Single Cask 15 Year Old Irish Whiskey Selected Exclusively for California

Teeling Single Cask 15 Year Old Irish Whiskey Selected Exclusively for California is a limited single-cask release made only for the California market — matured 15 years in ex-bourbon barrels, then finished in ex-Bordeaux Sauvignon Blanc casks, and bottled at 100 proof (50% ABV), non-chill filtered — and it is available to order online at Del Mesa Liquor, San Diego, CA.

Teeling, the first new distillery in Dublin's historic Liberties district in over 125 years, is famous for bold cask experimentation. This California-exclusive 15-year single cask spends its long maturation in ex-bourbon oak before a vibrant Sauvignon Blanc cask finish — bottled at a full 50% ABV with no chill filtration for maximum character.

Tasting notes (retailer copy): bright citrus, green apple, grapefruit and honeysuckle on the nose; zesty and peppery, unfolding into honeydew melon, vanilla and a delicate touch of pear on the palate; a crisp, drying finish with lingering fruit.

Why buy the California 15? Because a 15-year single cask at 100 proof, finished in Bordeaux Sauvignon Blanc, is exactly the kind of one-off that never comes back. Explore the Irish whiskey collection, the Teeling brand collection, and all spirits.

Serving note: sip neat at full strength to feel the cask finish; a splash of water opens the citrus and orchard fruit.

What is the ABV? 100 proof (50% ABV), 750mL — non-chill filtered.

What casks are used? 15 years in ex-bourbon barrels, finished in ex-Bordeaux Sauvignon Blanc casks.

Is this available outside California? No — it was bottled exclusively for the California market.

Who makes Teeling? The Teeling Whiskey Company, Dublin — a family-led distillery continuing a legacy dating to 1782.
