Twenty-five years in the barrel turns rye's spice into something almost burgundian: deep caramel and dried fig up front, layers of cinnamon bark, clove, and saddle leather mid-palate, and a finish that goes on for minutes — oak tannin, dark honey, and a whisper of peppermint.
