The Nine of Swords, Poured Pink

Maison No. 9 takes its name from Post Malone's favourite tarot card, the Nine of Swords — a card about pushing through daily challenges — and its bottle, tall and slender with a glass closure whose battlements echo a medieval castle near the vineyard, is just as deliberate. Post Malone, James Morrissey and Dre London sampled over 50 blends in 2019 with Provence winemaker Alexis Cornu before settling on this one: classic southern French varieties with an atypical touch of Merlot for roundness. It launched in the US in June 2020 and became one of the defining celebrity rosés. Explore more pinks in our rosé wine and wine collections, or on the Maison No. 9 vendor page.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Ripe pineapple, pear and strawberry with a hint of sweet French confection. Palate: Clean and dry — soft Provençal pink fruit with a round, mouthwatering, savoury texture. Finish: Crisp and refreshing.

How to Enjoy

Chill well and pour with grilled seafood, Niçoise salad, goat cheese or simply as a sunset aperitif — this is a dry, versatile table rosé, not a sweet one.
