Rey Supremo Reposado Tequila
Rey Supremo Reposado Tequila is a 40% ABV (80 proof) reposado from NOM 1439 (Tres Hermanos) in Jalisco, Mexico — the same distillery, agave and production method as the Rey Supremo Añejo, but rested 9 months in American white oak instead of 18. The 100% blue Weber agave is autoclave-cooked, roller-mill extracted, fermented on deep-well water and double-distilled in stainless pot stills. Gold at the 2020 San Francisco Spirits Competition, it pours light amber with golden hues. A 750mL bottle. Buy reposado tequila online at Del Mesa Liquor, San Diego, CA.

Nine Months, Same House Style
The Añejo and the Reposado are twins separated by time: identical NOM 1439 production, one at 18 months, one at 9. At nine months the oak is a supporting player rather than the star — a rested nose of sweet agave, mild oak and almond leads to a palate of sweet agave, caramel and wood, with earthy, spiced agave and fruit through the body, finishing fruity with a hint of oak, almond and a warm mouthfeel. It's the more agave-forward, livelier expression of the house style. Shop more Rey Supremo tequilas and the tequila collection.
