A Tequila for Little Shakespeare
Roberto Gomez Bolaños — Chespirito, "Little Shakespeare" — created El Chavo and Chapulin Colorado and holds a place in Latin American culture few performers anywhere can match. Nosotros made this limited edition with Grupo Chespirito as a heartfelt homage: the bottle, made from 100% recycled glass, carries images of Chespirito, El Chavo and the Chapulin Colorado, along with his words — "One can recover money, love, prestige, or anything else… except time." The family connection is direct: Roberto Gomez Bolívar, Chespirito's grandson, is Nosotros' Director of Sales, and recalls his last visit with his grandfather in Cancun — "With tequila in hand, we shared stories about football, life, and time itself." Founder Carlos Soto put the intent plainly: "Chespirito brought laughter to countless homes, and we wanted to celebrate his contribution to our culture in a meaningful way." Tasting Notes
No official distillery tasting set is published for this bottling. Reviewers at The Daily Pour found guava, cantaloupe and orchard fruit with subtle caramel and oak on the nose, dried fruit sweetness over recognizable agave on the palate, and a dry, medium finish of agave nectar, wildflowers and minerality — a joven that drinks like the reposado it mostly is.
How to Enjoy
Sip it neat or over a single rock to let the reposado weight show, or give a ranch water or paloma a limited-edition base. It is also, frankly, a bottle Chespirito fans will want on the shelf.
