Lote Maestro Plata Tequila is a 750mL blanco bottled at 40% ABV (80 proof) — the unaged expression of the Partida family's range, made from 100% Blue Weber agave at Tequilera Puerta de Hierro (NOM 1477) in El Arenal, in the Tequila Valley of Jalisco. Crystal-bright, herbaceous and earthy, with fresh cooked agave at the centre: the valley spirit before oak ever touches it. It is available to order online at Del Mesa Liquor.

The Partida Spirit, Unaged

Plata is where a tequila family shows its distillate, and Lote Maestro's comes from El Arenal — the town at the entrance to the Tequila Valley, where Gildardo Partida, grandson and son of tequileros, produces the range at NOM 1477. The brand-level method is roller-mill extraction, stainless-steel fermentation and double distillation; bottled unaged, the Plata keeps the valley agave's herbaceous, earthy register intact, the same base spirit that the Anejo and Extra Anejo then take into oak. Compare the rested siblings on the Lote Maestro vendor page and in our tequila collection.

Tasting Notes

Per the brand's official notes: bright silver with straw-coloured shades; a powerful herbaceous aroma with wet earth; and fresh cooked agave and herbaceous flavours in a soft, warm delivery.

How to Enjoy

A blanco for agave-first cocktails — a Margarita or Batanga that tastes of the valley — and an honest neat pour beside the rested expressions for comparison. More blancos are in our tequila collection and across our spirits collection.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is plata the same as blanco?

Where is Lote Maestro Plata made?
