Kaua'i Cane, a Vintage Copper Still, and Real Coconut Character
Koloa was the first licensed distillery on Kaua'i, and its rums still run through the distillery's vintage copper pot still and are cut with rainwater that falls on Mount Wai'ale'ale — among the wettest spots on earth — and filters through volcanic strata into underground aquifers. The Coconut rum builds its flavour on that twice-distilled white rum base, pouring with a faint green opalescence and a thick, viscous texture.
