Penderyn Distillery's Icons of Wales Edition whisky series has released its 9th installment, named The Headliner. This release pays tribute to the only Welsh Prime Minister, David Lloyd George (1863-1945), who played a significant role in establishing the premium whisky industry by chance. Apart from being a social reformer, Lloyd George became a symbol of Wales' national reawakening, making more headlines than any other 20th century statesman.
