"My Love," Aged in Two Oaks and Painted by Hand

Amor Mio — "my love" — is made at Tequila Tres Mujeres in the Los Valles region of Jalisco, the valley country around Amatitan and El Arenal, and it is as much a piece of Mexican craft as a tequila: the bottle combines blown glass with Mayolica ceramic work, handmade and hand-painted by specialised craftsmen, in a tradition the brand's wholesale materials trace to the master potters of Dolores Hidalgo. The liquid follows the traditional valley method — brick-oven cooking, roller-mill extraction, stainless fermentation and double distillation — before its rest in American and French oak. Browse the range on the Amor Mio vendor page and the wider shelf in our tequila collection.

Tasting Notes

Per the brand's notes: vanilla, cinnamon and prune on the aroma, with hazelnut and wood; a palate of vanilla, cinnamon, cooked agave, prunes, wood, nuts and dried fruits; and a golden-amber colour with copper sparkles.

How to Enjoy

A digestif pour, per the brand: neat after dinner, paired with sweet foods and desserts — the brand itself suggests vanilla ice cream and crepes. More aged tequilas are in our tequila collection and the full range in our spirits collection.
