Lochlea Harvest Edition is a limited edition single malt from Lochlea Distillery in South Ayrshire — the second release in the distillery's annual series of seasonal bottlings, each inspired by a different chapter of farm life at Lochlea. The Harvest Edition celebrates the feeling of late summer on the farm, when the barley is ready for harvest — a moment of abundance and reward after months of patient cultivation.
Like all Lochlea expressions, it is made from 100% malted barley grown on the Lochlea farm, distilled on custom Forsyths copper pot stills, and matured in a combination of ex-Bourbon, Oloroso Sherry, and Port casks — non-chill filtered with no added colouring.
