Established in 1670 in Jamaica's Lluidas Vale, Worthy Park is a true single estate: thousands of acres of its own sugar cane supply the molasses, and every step from cane harvest and sugar production to distillation and bottling happens on the estate, 1,200 feet above sea level in the heart of Jamaica. Tropical aging does the rest, concentrating fruit and spice over twelve long years.
Tasting profile (importer notes): deep amber colour; figs, raisins, red fruit, allspice, banana bread and coffee on the aroma; an oily, rich palate that opens with crème brûlée and toasted nuts, flickers with citrus and herbs, then explodes into spice and a big finish of pungent, overripe banana.
