A Bottled Bellini, Born From the Almond Sparkling
After years of hearing customers describe their own creative mixes based on its famed Almond Sparkling, Wilson Creek — the family-owned Temecula winery Gerry and Rosie Wilson opened in 2000, on land bought in 1996 — created its own bottled versions, and this Peach Bellini is one of them: the Italian Bellini idea, built on that almond base with pure peach flavour, in a naturally fermented sparkler the winery presents as approachable even for drinkers who do not normally like sparkling wine. Find it on the Wilson Creek vendor page and in our sparkling wine collection.
Tasting Notes
Per the winery: crisp and clean, and not overly sweet — natural peach flavour over the soft almond base of the original sparkler, with a fresh, easy finish. (The winery's sheet gives flavouring and story rather than a granular nose-and-palate breakdown for this wine, so no further notes are claimed.)
How to Enjoy
Serve well chilled, straight from the bottle — it is already a built Bellini. The winery pairs it with spicy Chinese food, roast chicken with tarragon, pork chops or pork loin with apricot glaze, and brunch and lunch favourites. More brunch-ready bottles are in our wine collection.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Wilson Creek Peach Bellini a Champagne?
No — it is a California sparkling wine from Temecula. (Champagne comes only from the Champagne region of France.)
Is this just peach-flavoured?
No — it is built on the Wilson Creek Almond Sparkling, and its label describes it as almond & peach flavoured: soft almond underneath the peach.
Do I need peach puree or prosecco to make a Bellini with it?
No — the Bellini is already built in the bottle. Chill, pour, and optionally garnish with a peach slice.
