The Rosé That Started the Label
The Vanderpump family's time living in the South of France turned into a lasting attachment to Provence rosé, and this bottle — launched in 2017 by Lisa Vanderpump with her daughter Pandora and Jason Sabo — was the label's first wine, years before the California bottlings joined it. It is made the Provençal way in the Côtes de Provence: Cinsault, Grenache and Syrah picked for freshness, given only brief skin contact, and fermented into the pale, dry style the region defines — vineyards open to plentiful sun and the cool, dry mistral winds that keep the fruit healthy. Browse the house on the Vanderpump Wines vendor page, and see the family's California red at Vanderpump Cabernet Sauvignon.
Tasting Notes
Per the producer: a pale rose-peach colour; an elegant nose of delicate red currant, pepper and sweet citrus; a palate of strawberry, tangerine and peach in a dry, classic style; and refreshing acidity through the finish.
How to Enjoy
Serve it well chilled, the way it is poured in Provence. The producer suggests grilled vegetables, chilled seafood, soft cheeses and salads — or moules frites for the full Riviera register. More pink wines are in our rosé wine collection.
