Tuyo — "yours" — was developed by Celia Maestri at Casa Maestri as a complete line of nothing but Cristalinos: four expressions numbered by their ageing class, each rested in 10-year-old bourbon barrels and then refined until the colour the barrel gave is gone and only the flavour remains. No.2 is the Reposado step: six months in barrel, Highland fruit and citrus blended against Lowland spice by design, in a crystal presentation bottle sized at 375mL. Tasting Notes
Nose: Floral, with pronounced licorice and anise over tropical melon and a little mango (official tasting notes). Palate: Very smooth and sweet — melon first, with a slight pepperiness underneath. Finish: Long, led by tropical fruit.
